Are class 12 marks vital for IELTS?

There are no minimum percentage criteria that have been set to take the IELTS exam.

What is the IELTS age limit?

There is no age-related guideline. Anybody can take the test although the minimum age is 16 years.

How long is an IELTS score valid?

An IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) is valid for two (2) years.

What if I lose my test report form?

If the TRF has been damaged or lost, IDP will not be able to provide another copy; however, a TRF can be forwarded to an institution/organisation on behalf of the candidate.

How soon is a candidate eligible for appearing on the IELTS test again?

The candidate is eligible for giving IELTS exam anytime.

Which countries accept IELTS scores?

IELTS score is accepted by more than 140 countries. Various organizations accept this in major English-speaking countries like the UK, the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Apart from this, it is accepted even by non-English speaking countries for giving admission to different colleges and universities where courses are taught in English.

Is it difficult?

The level of your preparation is responsible for the difficulty of any exam. Even if you start beginner, you can still master the IELTS exam if you are using proper IELTS resources and practice mock tests.

How to change the IELTS Speaking test date?

The schedule for the speaking test is system generated, thus, it is not possible to change the speaking test date.

What do I have to bring on the test day?

Candidates are required to bring the original ID card i.e. passport/national identity card for registration.

Can I carry a watch to the IELTS test centre?

Candidates are not allowed to take the watch or any kind of gadget inside the test centre.

When do I receive venue details for the IELTS exam?

Candidates will receive an email and SMS at their registered email ID and mobile number confirming their venue details and schedule 2 days before the test date.

Can anyone register for IELTS without a passport?

No, a candidate needs valid ID proof to register for the test as per the guidelines by IDP and the test taker needs to bring a valid passport/national identity card whichever he has used to register for the test. Without a valid ID, he will not be allowed to sit in the exam.
